About Harper's

It all started in 1962 when Carroll and Betty Harper launched their dream of providing quality garden and ornamental products at an affordable and reasonable price. Carroll purchased a $3 concrete-mold catalog that he had found while flipping through a gardening magazine. The Harper's aspiration of owning their own company was sparked by the purchase of just one concrete-planter mold.

According to Carroll, business was sluggish at first. But, with the dedication and the help of Carroll's two sons, Dale and Doug Harper, Harper's Lawn Ornaments has increased their product line over the years to more than 1,000 pieces of ornamental concrete and giftware. In 1995, Harper's expanded their family venture to include their eccentrically decorated Water Garden Center full of diverse fountain and water garden displays. Today we are at the same landmark location on Route 11--- still paying close attention to the finest details to provide unique customer service. We have wholesalers in six states and two giftshops on our premises. Customers travel from many states to make a day out of the one-of-a-kind experience.
